cookies

We use cookies on our website. Cookies are small text files that are stored by your browser when you visit a website. This identifies the browser used and can be recognised by our web server. If this use of cookies results in the processing of personal data, this is based on the legal basis of Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 letter f DSGVO. This processing serves our legitimate interest in making our website more user-friendly, effective and secure.

Most of the cookies we use are so-called "session cookies". They are automatically deleted at the end of your visit. Other cookies ("persistent cookies") are automatically deleted after a specified period of time, which may vary depending on the cookie. You can delete the cookies in the security settings of your browser at any time. You may refuse the use of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings on your browser. Further information can be obtained from the Federal Office for Information Security at

Google Analytics

We use the Google Analytics service of Google Inc. to evaluate our website visitors. (1600 Amphithea- tre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). Google uses cookies. The information gene- rated by the cookie about the use of the online offer by the user is usually transferred to a Google ser- ver in the USA and stored there. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online services by users, to compile reports on the activities within this online service and to pro- vide us with other services associated with the use of this online service and the Internet. Pseudony- mous user profiles of the users can be created from the processed data.

We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization enabled. This means that the IP address of the user is shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting sta- tes of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.

The IP address transmitted by the user's browser is not merged with other Google data. Users can prevent the storage of cookies by setting their browser software accordingly.

The legal basis for the use of this service is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence. 1 letter f DSGVO. Users can pre- vent the collection of information generated by the cookie by downloading and installing the browser plugin available from the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en.

If you visit our website via a mobile device, you can deactivate Google Analytics by clicking on this link.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European privacy laws (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&sta- tus=Active).

Google Marketing Services

We use on our website marketing and remarketing services of Google Inc. (1600 Amphitheatre Park- way, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA; "Google"). These services allow us to display advertisements in a more targeted manner in order to present users with advertisements that are in line with their inte- rests. Remarketing displays ads and products to users who are interested in other sites on the Google Network. For these purposes, a code is executed by Google when our website is accessed and so- called (re)marketing tags are integrated into the website. With their help, an individual cookie, i.e. a small file, is stored on the user's device (comparable technologies can also be used instead of coo- kies). The cookies can be set by various domains, including google.com, doubleclick.net, inviteme- dia.com, admeld.com, googlesyndication.com or googleadservices.com. This file records which websi- tes users have visited, what content they are interested in and what offers have been made. In addi- tion, technical information on the browser and operating system, referring websites, visit times and other information on the use of the online offer are stored. The IP address of the user is also recorded, whereby we communicate within the scope of Google Analytics that the IP address is shortened within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the Euro- pean Economic Area.

All user data will only be processed as pseudonymous data. Google therefore does not store any na- mes or e-mail addresses. All displayed advertisements are therefore not displayed specifically for one person, but for the owner of the cookie. This information is collected by Google and transmitted to ser- vers in the USA where it is stored.

One of the Google marketing services we use is the online advertising program Google AdWords. In the case of Google AdWords, each AdWords customer receives a different conversion cookie. Coo- kies can therefore not be tracked via the websites of AdWords customers. The information collected through the cookie is used to generate conversion statistics for AdWords customers who have opted for conversion tracking. AdWords customers see the total number of users who clicked on their ad and were redirected to a page with a conversion tracking tag. However, you will not receive any informa- tion that personally identifies users.

We may use the Google Marketing Services DoubleClick to display third-party advertisements. DoubleClick uses cookies to enable Google and its partner sites to serve ads based on users' visits to this site or other sites on the Internet.

Google services are used via Google's tag manager. You can find out more about Google's use of data for marketing purposes on the overview page: https://www.google.com/policies/technologies/ads, Google's privacy policy can be found at https://www.google.com/policies/privacy

The legal basis for the use of this service is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence. 1 letter f DSGVO. If you wish to opt out of interest-based advertising through Google Marketing Services, you may use the settings and opt-outs provided by Google: http://www.google.com/ads/preferences.

Google is certified under the Privacy Shield Agreement and thereby offers a guarantee of compliance with European privacy laws (https://www.privacyshield.gov/participant?id=a2zt000000001L5AAI&sta- tus=Active).
